Criterion for Knowledge

Student should have acquired knowledge and understanding of:

  • the behaviour of the mass of air and water in motion
  • the conservation of energy in the motion of the mass of air and water
  • the behaviour of the mass of air and water in relation to aviation wings
  • how it is possible to harness the energy in the mass of air and water in motion
  • the energy needs of the human body and how it reacts to different circumstances in the environment
  • various heat transfer
  • the concept of waves from the point of view of mathematical extension and apply it to the behaviour of sound
  • the mechanics of rotation
  • the atomic core and its behaviour in the radiation of particles

Criterion for skills

Student should have aquired skills in:

  • applying the laws of thermodynamics to the behaviour of the human body in different circumstances in the environment
  • applying different equations to heat transfer
  • working with heat in relation to weather and winds
  • working with various concepts related to heat transfer and the cooling of the human body
  • applying Bernoulli's principle to dysbarism of fast-moving air and water 
  • applying equations in the generation of energy based on various possibilities regarding the acquisition of it through harnessing of the mass of air and water
  • interpreting equations on general wave movements
  • working with sound waves and light and their doppler effect
  • applying equations regarding doppler effect
  • applying concepts and equations on mechanics of rotation such as moment of inertia, angular momentum, rotational kinetic energy, and angular acceleration
  • applying equations on the radioactivity of the nucleus
  • interpreting the effect of radiation and know its origin and characteristics
  • applying equations on the energy of the nucleus
  • presenting a report in an organised manner with interpretation of results, based on graphs and calculations on deviations

Criterion for competence

Student should be able to make practical use of the general knowledge and skills he has acquired to:

  • see how the laws of physics are connected to daily activities and technology concerning the aforementioned factors
  • apply specific laws of physics in various circumstances
  • see the connection between the laws of physics with different specialities

 see the correlation between individual laws where the basic concepts of physics are applied
