LAND2HL05(ms) Economic geography
Students study with the methods of geography various economic factors of human life on Earth. Studied are in what ways these factors spread and reconnect. The influence of politics, innovations in technology, cultural influences, religion, industrial structure, nature, and general economic factors are dissected in relation to in what way these factors have had an effect on economic development of individual regions and the interaction bewteen them. Emphasis will be placed on the use of maps as a tool to analyse individual subject matters. Students are meant to be able to predict from the data on hand a likely geographical development in any chosen matter.
