About the structure of Danish in MS

Students who have garduated from compulsory school and enter their studies with a grade of B or higher start Danish at competence level two. Students who enter their studies at MS with a grade lower than B may have to start studying Danish at competence level one (Preparatory studies in Danish).

Courses in Danish at MS

DANS1GR05(ms) - Prepararatory studies in Danish

Prepararatory studies in Danish. The course is a preparation for DANS2MM05 and is a revision of Danish in the final classes of primary school Emphasis is placed vocabulary acquisition and vocabulary use in oral and written expression. Students receive training in using Danish as a tool for communication and in being active and conscious language users who have knowledge of modern Danish society. The end goal of the course equals level B1 in the evaluation framework of the European Language Portfolio.

DANS2MM05(ms) - Key to Danish language and Culture

Students receive training in using Danish as a tool for communication and in being active and conscious language users who have knowledge of modern Danish society and the common cultural heritage of the Nordic people. The end goal of the course equals level B2 in the evaluation framework of the European Language Portfolio.

Prerequisite: The grade B or higher at the end of primary school or have finished DANS1GR05(ms).

DANS2NS05(ms) -Living and working in Danish Society

The goal is to make students capable to participate in Danish society, whether in theirs tudy or work. Students receive training in using Danish as a tool for communication and in being active and conscious language users who have knowledge of modern Danish society. Subject material will be literary and real texts, films and various media material. Teaching is performed in Danish.
