STJÓ2ST05(ms)- Management

Introduced are the basic concepts and main subject matters of management. Emphasis is placed on increasing students' understanding of the importance of management for the individual, companies, and society as a whole. Studied are the evolution of management as a field of study and how changes in society have led to increasing emphasis on the utilisation of management. Students receive insight into a manager's main tasks. Management in social activities is a special emphasis. Policy making, marketing, and organised work methods are covered. The study aims at preparing students for participation in social- and working life and further studies in the field of management. Emphasis is placed on students showing independent work methods through multifarious study methods and evaluation.
